Ending of a Word

1. 앞으로 어떤 일이 이루어지기 위한 조건을 나타내거나 그러한 일이 실현된 경우를 가정할 때 쓰는 연결 어미.

1. -RYEOGEODEUN: A connective ending used to indicate a condition for an event to happen, or to assume that such an event happened.

🗣️ Usage Example:

목적지에 도착하려거든 아직 멀었다.
There's still a long way to get to the destination.
해가 뜨려거든 아직 좀 더 있어야 한다.
If the sun is about to rise, there should still be some more.
눈이 내리려거든 펑펑 쏟아졌으면 좋겠다.
If it's about to snow, i hope it's pouring down.
♔ 비가 부슬부슬 내리니까 우울해지는 것 같아.
I think it's getting depressing because it's drizzling.

Yeah. if it's going to rain, just pour it down.
