1. 말하는 사람이 이전에 받은 제안이나 권유를 옮겨 말하면서 그것에 대하여 따져 물을 때 쓰는 표현.

♔ 어제 영화를 봤는데 무지 재미있더라.
I watched a movie yesterday and it was so much fun.

My husband offered me a tempting offer to go out and get some fresh air.
♔ 아버지는 어디 가셨어?

♕ 오랜만에 모였으니 다 같이 점심 먹으러 가자며 먼저 나가셨어.
We haven't seen each other in a while, so they left first, asking us to all go out for lunch.

📚 주석: 동사 뒤에 붙여 쓴다. '-자면서'가 줄어든 말이다.
