중국 동남쪽 끝에 있는 중국의 특별 행정구역. 아편 전쟁으로 영국령이 되었다가 1997년 중국에 반환되었다. 중계 가공 무역, 금융업, 관광 산업이 발달하였다.

China's Special Administrative Region located at the southeastern end of the mainland; it fell under the control of Britain as a result of the Opium Wars and was returned to China in 1997; it is known for advanced intermediary processing trades, and financial services and tourism industries.

한반도 중부 내륙 지방인 도. 북한이 1954년에 황해도에서 분리하여 신설하였다. 주요 도시로는 사리원 등이 있다.

North Hwanghae Province: An administrative district, do, or a province of North Korea located in the inland of the central part of the Korean Peninsula; it was newly established in 1954 after having been separated from Hwanghae-do, or Hwanghae Province; its major cities include Sariwon.

한국의 서쪽에 있는 바다. 한반도와 중국에 둘러싸여 있으며 중국 내륙에서 흘러 오는 황토 때문에 바닷물이 누렇다. 밀물과 썰물 때의 수위의 차가 심하여 간석지가 발달해 있다.

만주의 서쪽이자 시베리아의 남쪽에 있는 지역. 칭기즈 칸이 13세기 초 중국 본토의 북쪽에 세운 몽골 제국이 있던 곳으로 청나라 때 외몽골과 내몽골로 나누어졌다. 북쪽으로는 러시아, 남쪽으로는 중국과 맞닿아 있다.
