1. 높임의 대상인 상대방에게 존대의 뜻을 나타내는 조사.

    The performance has already begun.
  • Google translate 남기지 않고 다 먹었지요?
    You ate everything, right?

📚 Annotation: 주로 두루 낮춤으로 쓰는 종결 어미나 일부 예사 낮춤으로 쓰는 종결 어미 뒤에 붙여 쓴다. 격식을 갖추어야 하는 상대에게는 잘 쓰지 않는다.
