1. 어떤 조건이 갖추어진 상황을 기대하며 가정하지만 뒤에 오는 말이 나타내는 실제 상황은 그렇지 않음을 나타내는 연결 어미.

1. -EURYEONMANEUN: A connective ending used when the speaker anticipates and assumes a certain situation of which some conditions are met, but the following content is not so.

🗣️ Usage Example:

날씨가 화창했으면 소풍을 갔으련마는 비가 와서 못 갔네.
If it were sunny, i would go on a picnic, but i couldn't because it rained.
너도 우리랑 같이 여행을 가면 좋으련마는 같이 못 가서 아쉽다.
It would be nice if you could travel with us, but i'm sorry you couldn't.
어제만 공부를 열심히 했어도 시험을 더 잘 봤으련마는 이미 늦어 버렸다.
If only i had studied hard yesterday, i would have done better on the test, but i was already late.
♔ 행사가 너무 단조롭더라.
The event was so monotonous.
♕ 맞아. 좀 더 다양한 프로그램이 마련되어 있었으면 재미있었으련마는 뭔가가 허전했어.
That's right. it would have been fun if there were more diverse programs, but something was missing.
