Ending of a Word  

1. (두루높임으로) 어떤 사실을 서술하거나 질문함을 나타내는 종결 어미.

1. -EYO: (informal addressee-raising) A sentence-final ending used when describing a certain fact or asking a question.

  • 고향이 대전이에요?
    Your hometown is daejeon?
  • 오늘이 무슨 날이에요?
    What day is it today?
