1. 들은 사실을 전달하거나 인용하면서 자신의 생각이나 질문을 이어 말할 때 쓰는 표현.

2. (두루낮춤으로) 들은 사실을 전달함으로써 간접적으로 나타내고자 하는 바를 말할 때 쓰는 표현.

2. (TRATAMIENTO DE MODESTIA GENERAL) Expresión que se usa para mostrar algo que se ha escuchado con intención de transmitirlo indirectamente.

🗣️ Ejemplo:

이 길로 가면 돌아서 가는 것이고 저 길이 지름길이라는데.
If you go this way, you turn around, and that's a shortcut.
왜 이렇게 느리지? 이게 최신 컴퓨터라는데.
Why is it so slow? they say this is the latest computer.
비빔밥이 이 지역의 대표적인 전통 음식이라는데.
Bibimbap is a representative traditional food of this region.

🗣️ Ejemplo:

부장님께서 일단 이 일을 해 보라는데 잘할 수 있을지 모르겠다.
The manager wants me to do this job first, but i don't know if i can do it well.
출판사에서는 빨리 원고를 쓰라는데 글이 좀처럼 안 써진다.
Publishers are telling me to write a manuscript quickly, but i can't write.
너한테 행사 때 틀 음악을 고르라는데 할 수 있겠어?
They want you to choose music for the event. can you do it?
이제 그만 가라는데 왜 아직도 거기에 있니?
Why are you still there when you told me to leave now?
♔ 교수님께서 이 연구를 지수에게 맡기라는데 지수 혼자서 할 수 있을까?
The professor asked me to leave this research to ji-soo. can ji-soo do it alone?
♕ 글쎄. 혼자서 못 할 것 같으면 도와 달라고 하겠지.

My brother wants to borrow a car tomorrow.
