1. 회상한 앞의 내용을 인정하면서도 그것이 뒤의 내용에 영향을 미치지 않거나 어긋남을 나타내는 표현.

1. -DEORAMANEUN: An expression used to admit to the preceding recalled content, and to indicate that it, still, does not affect the following content or contradicts it.

🗣️ Usage Example:
  • 어제 일찍 잤더라마는, 또 늦잠을 자고 말았다.
    I slept early last night, but i overslept again.
  • 지금껏 동생이 어린애인 줄 알았더라마는, 오늘 아주 어른스럽더라.
    I've been thinking my brother was a kid, but he's very mature today.
  • 김 씨가 늘 완벽주의자처럼 굴더라마는, 오늘 정말 어이없는 실수를 했다는 거 아니니.
    Mr. kim's always been a perfectionist, which means he's made a ridiculous mistake today.
  • 승규는 살 좀 뺐대?
    Did seung-gyu lose some weight?
    예전부터 그렇게 살을 빼겠다고 난리를 치더라마는 여전히 뚱뚱하더라.
    He's always been so fat-ass about losing weight.

2. (아주낮춤으로) 이전의 경험을 회상하며 그 내용을 여운을 남기듯이 전할 때 쓰는 표현.

2. -DEORAMANEUN: (formal, highly addressee-lowering) An expression used to convey a past experience that the speaker is recalling, in an unfinished sentence.

🗣️ Usage Example:
  • 그렇게 천천히 일해서 언제 끝낼까 하더라마는.
    When will i finish working so slowly?
  • 그렇게 매일 야근을 하다가는 쓰러지겠더라마는.
    If you work overtime every day, you'll fall down.
  • 밥을 규칙적으로 안 먹으니 속이 상하겠더라마는.
    You must be upset that you don't eat regularly.
  • 승규가 느릿느릿 움직여서 언제 출발하겠냐 싶더라마는.
    Seung-gyu moved slowly and wondered when he would start.

📚 Annotation: ‘이다’, 동사와 형용사 또는 ‘-으시-’, ‘-었-’, ‘-겠-’ 뒤에 붙여 쓴다.
