1. (두루높임으로) 이전에 들은 사실을 여운을 남기면서 전달함으로써 말하고자 하는 바를 간접적으로 나타낼 때 쓰는 표현.

1. (TRATAMIENTO HONORÍFICO GENERAL) Expresión que se usa cuando el hablante transmite algo lo que antes ha escuchado y al mismo tiempo deja abierta la posibilidad para continuar mostrando indirectamente lo que quiere decir.

🗣️ Ejemplo:

저 남자 분이 이 식당 요리사라던데요.
I heard he's a chef at this restaurant.
이게 만두 안에 들어가는 소라던데요.
This is the cow that goes in the dumpling.
경험이야말로 산 교육이라던데요.
I heard experience is a living education.
♔ 여기는 소를 키우던 외양간이라던데요.
This is the barn where they used to keep cows.
♕ 그래요? 저는 외양간을 처음 봐요.
Really? i've never seen a barn before.

My landlord told me to make sure that i have my luggage piled up here by tomorrow.

♕ 저 사람이 이쪽에 있지 말고 저쪽으로 가라던데요.
He told me not to be here but to go that way.

What kind of food should i order?
