Ending of a Word

1. 앞에 오는 말을 인정하면서 그에 반대되거나 관계없는 내용을 덧붙여 말할 때 쓰는 연결 어미.

1. -NEUNDAMANEUN: A connective ending used when recognizing the truth of the preceding statement and adding something that is contrary or irrelevant to it.

🗣️ Usage Example:

네 소식은 가끔 듣는다마는 통 못 보니 보고 싶구나.
I hear from you sometimes, but i can't wait to see you.
주는 거니까 받기는 받는다마는 다음부터는 선물을 가지고 오지 말거라.
I'm giving it to you, so i'll take it, but don't bring it with me next time.
남들은 내 차림을 보고 웃는다마는 난 남의 시선은 신경 쓰지 않는다.
Others laugh at me, but i don't care what others think.

Did you finish reading the book you lent me yesterday?
