Ending of a Word

1. 여러 가지 중에서 어떤 것이 일어나도 뒤에 오는 말과는 상관이 없음을 나타내는 연결 어미.

1. -GEON: A connective ending used when even if one out of many things happens, it does not have any relation to the following statement.

🗣️ Usage Example:

네가 알았건 몰랐건 간에 이렇게 된 데는 네 책임이 커.

📚 Annotation: ‘이다’, 동사와 형용사 또는 ‘-으시-’, ‘-었-’, ‘-겠-’ 등의 뒤에 붙여 쓰고, 뜻을 분명히 할 때는 '-건 (-건) 간에', '-건 (-건) 상관없이'로 쓴다.
