1. 말하는 사람이 이전에 듣거나 경험한 것을 전달하면서 그것이 뒤에 오는 말의 이유나 근거가 됨을 나타내는 표현.

1. -DEORANIKKA: An expression used to convey what the speaker heard or experienced before, implying that it is the reason or basis for the following statement.

🗣️ Usage Example:
  • 지수는 항상 일등을 하더라니까 이번에도 그럴 줄 알았어.
    Jisoo always gets first place, so i knew it this time.
  • 나는 이게 맛있더라니까 친구가 자기는 맛이 없다며 이해가 안 된대.
    I said it was delicious, but my friend said he didn't understand it because it wasn't tasty.
  • 유민이가 빨간색이 좋더라니까 점원이 빨간색 코트를 추천해 줬어.
    Yoomin likes red, so the clerk recommended me a red coat.
  • 영수야, 백화점에는 왜 가니?
    Why are you going to the department store, youngsoo?
    엄마가 내가 사다 드린 옷이 작더라니까 바꾸러 가려고.
    My mom said the clothes i bought for her were small, so i'm going to change them.

📚 Annotation: ‘이다’, 동사와 형용사 또는 ‘-으시-’, ‘-었-’, ‘-겠-’ 뒤에 붙여 쓴다. ‘-더라고 하니까’가 줄어든 말이다.
