Ending of a Word  

1. (아주낮춤으로) 제안이나 권유 받은 사실을 듣는 사람에게 확인하여 물음을 나타내는 종결 어미.

1. -JAMYEO: (formal, highly addressee-lowering) A sentence-final ending used to confirm and ask questions about a previous suggestion or piece of advice.

🗣️ Usage Example:
  • 오늘 저녁 같이 먹자며?
    You said you wanted to have dinner with me tonight?
  • 올해 여름에는 바다로 놀러 가자며?
    You said you wanted to go to the sea this summer?
  • 신촌에서 만나자며? 어디에 있는 거야?
    You said we'd meet in sinchon? where are you?
  • 지수야, 우리 지금 나가자.
    Jisoo, let's get out of here now.
    지금 나가자고? 아까는 승규를 기다리자며?
    You want to leave now? you said you wanted to wait for seunggyu.
