1. (아주낮춤으로) 말하는 사람이 이미 아는 사실을 객관화하여 전달함을 나타내는 종결 어미.

1. -RANDA: (formal, highly addressee-lowering) A sentence-final ending used when the speaker talks about a fact that he/she already knows in an objective manner and conveys it.

🗣️ Usage Example:

오늘이 바로 너희 아버지 생신이란다.
Today is your father's birthday.
김 선생님은 훌륭한 글을 많이 쓰시는 작가시란다.
Mr. kim is a great writer.
이 책이 엄마가 어렸을 때 좋아하던 책이란다.
This is a book that my mom used to like when she was a kid.
